Creamy Dreamy Hot Chocolate

Creamy, Dreamy Hot Chocolate

 

Serves 2

 

-1/3 cup coconut milk

-2 tbsp raw cacao powder

-2 tsp coconut palm sugar

-1 tsp vanilla bean paste

-1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

-2 cups water

 

-Whisk all ingredients in a small saucepan

-Bring to a gentle simmer and whisk again

-Pour into mugs and sprinkle with extra cinnamon

 

Optional

-Grated orange zest

-1 tbsp nut butter (almond/hazelnut)

Raw Chocolate Bark

-1 cup melted coconut oil
-1/4 cup raw coconut sugar
-2-4 tbsp raw cacao powder
-1 cup amaranth puffs

-In a large bowl, gently mix the oil, coconut sugar and cacao powder together
-Fold in the amaranth puffs until combined
-Pour into a lined tray and freeze for 30 minutes or until firm
-Snap into pieces and store in the freezer
