There is nothing better than an alkalising, nourishing soup for dinner!

Broccoli, Cauliflower and Hazelnut Chowder

Serves 4

-2 cups broccoli florets
-1 cup cauliflower florets
-2 cups water
-1 cup almond milk (homemade is best, as it is unsweetened)
-1 clove garlic, minced
-1/2 cup whole hazelnuts, processed to meal

-In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil
-Add the broccoli and cauliflower and bring to a gentle simmer
-Pour in the almond milk, and return to simmer
-Add the garlic and hazelnut meal and stir well
-Serve hot, with fresh pepper, and a drizzle of high quality extra virgin olive oil.
